Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well and enjoyed a lovely Christmas!
I apologise my blog has been inactive for almost a month now but things have been very difficult for me over the past 4 week and I have spent most of my time in hospital. Thankfully though I did get discharged from hospital on Christmas Eve so I was home in time to spend the Christmas holidays with my family.
I want to thank-you all for supporting our CD and its launch, we had a great night and I feel extremely thankful and blessed for all the love, support and kindness everyone has shown towards me. I do not deserve such amazing generosity from you all but I am very pleased to announce that at the moment from the CD sales we have raised a massive £5,814.26 to help with the extra costs regarding treatment in London. God truly got us through this whole CD journey and the launch night, He has been right by my side and kept me under His wings. None of this would have been possible without the Lord and the support of my family, friends and everyone else who reached out to me and helped to raise this money.
Unfortunately at the moment I am not doing very well, which is the reason why I haven’t updated for so long. Over the past 5 weeks my good shoulder has been dislocating almost everyday which meant I had to go to hospital, have anaesthetic for sedation and get the doctors to relocate it, which was clearly a very painful, exhausting and distressing experience. Having to go through this everyday for a number of weeks took a major toll on my body to the point where I just slept all the time, I couldn’t eat, I was being sick and of course I was in a lot of pain. Sadly now I have been left with two shoulders now permanently dislocated, I am at home but I can’t use either arm, I have extreme pain and I’m practically bed bound to keep my shoulders at a particular angle. I can’t really do much for myself anymore and right now we are focussing on trying to get my pain relief adjusted so that I can bear the pain until I get to London. I would really appreciate it if you could pray that we get a date for London soon as I really need to get there as soon as possible as I cannot cope with two permanently dislocated shoulders.
Therefore I may not be able to update that much over the next few weeks as I’m struggling a lot at the moment. However I pray you all continue to enjoy your holidays and have a happy new year! I pray 2015 is a good year for you all!
