Today has been a complete whirlwind of a day. I apologise if this post ends up making no sense, I am completely exhausted and in a lot of pain.
This journey to London today has definitely taken its toil on me. We left home at 10.30am and didn’t arrive at our hotel until 6.30pm. But I’m thankful we are finally here safe and that tomorrow’s long awaited appointment is almost here. To be honest I’m a bit nervous and apprehensive about tomorrow, I just desperately need help and I hope and pray that I can get the help I need.
However, when I worry about this I am then gently comforted by God and He reminds me of His faithfulness. He will not just give up on me and leave me to deal with tomorrow alone, instead He will provide ways, resources and strength to carry me through this. I am afraid, exhausted and in a lot of pain, but God hears my cries. He can see what I’m going through, He sees what I’m struggling with and the things I have to face. He also completely understands why I’m upset and feeling the way I do, and then after all this he reaches down to help and delivers me either from or through this storm. He saves me from my stress and upset,
‘Then The Lord said, I surely have seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings and have come down to deliver them.’ Exodus 3:7.
Jesus understands what I’m going through even more than I could ever understand myself. He knows my sorrows, He has a remedy, He is the meeter of my needs. Through everything tomorrow I will keep focusing on our faithful God who I know promises to never leave me. I can rest assured knowing that He will get me through all of this whatever happens tomorrow.
‘The faithful one. The trust we hold. The hope we carry, rest in His faithfulness. Every promise He has made He promises to fulfil. He has the authority to accomplish all He has spoken. His power is limitless. His character changeless. His love endless.’ – Roy Lessin.
I thank-you all so much for your support, messages and prayers over the past few days. I hope to give an update on my appointment as soon as possible.
